20+ years building teams and turning strategy into execution.

I’m Eric Boettner. My career has spanned sales leadership, operations, business development, communications, and nonprofit leadership across Fortune 100, high-growth, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven organizations. I’ve led teams of 450+ employees, directed $50M+ multi-state operations, and built systems supporting thousands of frontline employees.

Today I serve as Vice President of Operations and Advancement at Lily Pad, where I help lead operations, fundraising, partnerships, and organizational growth. I also lead digital strategy for The Baker’s Table and continue building Built Through Clarity, my work on leadership and organizational health.

Operations Advancement Sales Leadership Organizational Health Digital Strategy

A builder, operator, and leader across business and mission-driven work.

My career began in sponsorship and field sales, then progressed through frontline leadership, compensation, sales execution, enterprise communications, national enablement, multi-state operations, business development, and nonprofit leadership.

Along the way, I have worked at both frontline and executive levels, building systems that connect strategy to what people actually do every day.

I believe leadership is stewardship. The goal is not to become indispensable, but to leave people, teams, and organizations more capable than you found them.

My Christian faith shapes how I understand leadership, family, service, and the dignity of every person. I believe conviction should be expressed with humility, consistency, and care for others.

Healthy organizations are intentionally built. Clarity is the integrating discipline that aligns Purpose, People, Process, and Performance.
The Built Through Clarity Framework
Purpose
People
Process
Performance
Integrated throughClarity
Purpose creates direction. People build capability. Process creates reliability. Performance creates learning. Clarity keeps the four systems understandable and aligned.

Across corporate, entrepreneurial, and nonprofit settings, I kept seeing the same pattern: many organizational challenges eventually traced back to one of four connected parts of the system. Purpose sets direction. People carry the mission. Process makes good work repeatable. Performance creates learning. I came to see Clarity as the discipline that keeps all four aligned and understandable enough for people to act.

Built Through Clarity is the body of work I use to make that operating lens practical. The Built Through Clarity Framework connects Purpose, People, Process, and Performance through Clarity. The Organizational Health Assessment then helps leaders examine where the system is strong, where friction may be building, and where focused leadership attention could have the greatest value.

Stewardship over status. Development over control.

Leadership

Clarity is an act of care.

People should not have to decode what matters, who owns what, or what good looks like.

People

Build capacity beyond yourself.

Strong leadership develops judgment, distributes capability, and reduces unhealthy dependence on one person.

Systems

Systems should serve people and mission.

Structure is useful when it makes good work easier, clearer, more reliable, and more scalable.

Performance

Metrics should create learning, not fear.

Measurement matters when it helps people understand reality, improve behavior, and make better decisions.

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
