Cool clear Saturday turns into dreary Sunday
Expect a chilly start to the weekend. Around Cobb County, we’ll see mid to upper 30s in the mornings. Some parts of North Georgia will see even cooler (upper 20s). The max temperature Saturday and Sunday will struggle to get above 50. Bundle up, it will be cool out there. There will be enough moisture to warrant a slight chance of rain Saturday night and Sunday Morning. Honestly, we are taking drizzles here. Maybe a 20-30% chance, so nothing significant. Highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s with a small chance of rain. Weather warms up a bit on Monday with another chance of rain and cooler weather next Friday or Saturday. Overall, the upcoming week will have temperatures slightly cooler than average. Follow us on Twitter for up to date forecast and condition info!

More detail from the NWS Forecast:
Cold air damming stemming from a surface high centered off the New England coast will be in place at the onset of the extended period Sunday. Low clouds will quickly increase on moist low-level easterly flow by Sunday morning. This will make for a dreary and cool Sunday with spotty light showers/drizzle. High temperatures struggling to reach the low- to-mid 50s for much of the area. Given current forecast temperatures and timing for onset of any light showers, freezing precipitation is not expected.
There is a weak cold front that will push through the area by Monday morning with clearing skies for Monday. With sunny skies, temperatures will rebound into the low-to-mid 60s. High pressure will dominate the majority of the work week bringing dry weather, and temperatures will remain slightly below to near average. Any additional rain potential will hold off until next Friday/Saturday time frame. Forecast info provided by the Peachtree City NWS Office.
