Summer-like temps, relief on the way
The average high for this time of year is 68. But we’ll be hotter than that this weekend, with highs near 80 and lows in the upper 50s. Along with the raise in temperature, humidity will also increase. Though you certainly won’t need a jacket during the day, watch out for the occasional rain showers.
The warmer than normal temperatures may bring a few light and sporadic shower activity across the metro Atlanta area. While they could produce heavy downpours, no severe weather is forecasted. Saturday has a 30% chance of rain, but Sunday looks clear and dry. Still hot though.
